Chandleries were a sort of general store common in seaport towns. They had a maritime focus but also provided a variety of goods to the land based population. You never knew what you might find in a Chandlery. The different look of this page reflects the layout of the MARLINESPIKE CHANDLERY, my shop in Stonington, Maine and like an old chandlery, you never know what you might find here.
